He says he doesn’t believe Israel should exist as a state and it ought to be Palestine again. When asked where the Jewish population ought to go, he says they should stay there.

So, in essence, this is the one state solution. Advocates for it exist on many sides, including Israelis, and it was even the position of early Jewish immigrants to Palestine, who intended themselves to become part of Palestinian society.

And then all the defamatory statements, that he “hates Jews” — all of it — are just made by the person recording it, speaking over him, in a quite unhinged manner, when he explains he doesn’t “hate Jews” he’s interrupted again, and isn’t allowed to even express himself.

It’s a bit like a filmed Twitter interaction.

It is clear from the experiences that I, @doctor_rahmeh @Rehiana1980 et Al have had, that for health professionals that speak out against Israel - the treatment will always be heavy-handed. When doctors call for the death of Palestinians - they are quietly spoken to and the GMC does not act. We have collected multiple examples of this in action and it will be brought to light to put an end to what is clear discrimination within the health service.
