Our final poster tweet is this great work by @_AmeliaHobson from @OfficialZSL. Amelia is presenting results of a systematic review of zoo-based great ape research, identifying topics of interest and those that would benefit from further research 🦧

Don’t call me a monkey! ❌🐒 Chimps aren’t monkeys, they’re great apes, just like us. They share 98.5% of their DNA with humans, but if you only consider active genes, it's more than 99%! Look out for our troop when you next visit - every ticket supports our vital conservation 🧡
Koko the chimpanzee has celebrated reaching the milestone age of 50! https://t.co/bup57UtxUV
Our oldest mammal marked her incredible half-century by tucking into a smorgasbord of her favourite foods before playing in the spring sunshine with younger chimps Phil, Grant and Elvis.
Two Sumatran tiger cubs have had their first successful health check-up yesterday 🐯

Dash meets the cubs 😍
Our CCTV cameras have captured Dash's first time back in the cubbing den to meet Kasarna's newest arrivals 🐯
Experts say Dash was affectionate and protective in his behaviour when he met them for the first time ❤️
An interesting first day at #EZNC2023 alongside eye opening talks about aquaria nutrition as well as the importance of carcass feeding and the fibre it provides for carnivores, the shortage of designated zoo nutritionists was highlighted fuelling my passion for this field!

Three baby fossa cubs are the latest exciting arrivals here at @chesterzoo - but how did we get here?
Over the last year, CZ Lead Population Biologist @Leahjw has been studying the fossa's unique mating rituals, including a female's distinctive call for a partner.

⚠️Government U-turn on fracking⚠️
@trussliz and @Jacob_Rees_Mogg have reversed the ban on fracking👎
This decision will have severe consequences for our environment. Right now the focus should be on accelerating our sustainable energy sources.
Here's what we have to say...
