@sailornuggie Silent Hill ƒ is an amazing game and I definitely recommend it, but the story is really, really heavy - i found it to be far more oppressive than scary!

@asr7c Strongly agree with this! I think much of the criticism overlooks the actual trauma happening to, around and within Hinako - the deeply human implicit horror, and stifled mental anguish made this story even more unsettling than Silent Hill 2’s eventual explicit reveal

Thoroughly looking forward to Silent Hill Townfall - the gameplay and mechanics will be a refreshing take on the Silent Hill universe and I’m excited to see if Simon’s trauma can live up to the misery of James, Hinako, Harry and every other unfortunate denizen.

A cinematic multiplayer experience and a proper single player mode?? This could be the best horror IP game yet!

Interesting premise where you determine whether each vignette is fact or fiction, all set in real-life locations.

Length is a concern, but there’s potential here!

Last night on Twitch we finished BloodRayne 2 and as much as I wanted to love it, I didn’t.

The premise/characters/voice acting/campiness were amazing, but the story (that ending???) and onerous mechanics made it impossible to enjoy.

Verdict: This one bites. C-
