If this makes you proud as a USMNT supporter, then you’re part of the problem.
NOW is the time to DEMAND more from US Soccer.
This is supposed to boil your blood. We were sold the idea of a World Cup on our soil changing soccer forever.
We beat the teams we were supposed to beat and lost to the ones better than us. A lot of hype to only end up in the same place as always.
🇺🇸 For a tournament that started with so much promise, the United States journey at the World Cup ends exactly where it did in 2022, 2014 and 2010: The round of 16.
This loss, unlike the others, was an ass-whooping.
At a home World Cup... this is a disappointment.
Confirming several Romanian media reports, Cluj forward Louis Munteanu, 23, has reached terms with D.C. United, which will pay substantial transfer fee, per sources. Romanian intl to sign 3.5-year Designated Player contract, with 1-year club option. Past suitors included Celtic.
Dear pro sports leagues: Looking forward to seeing you release statements & send condolences to Charlie Kirk’s family after he was murdered for his political beliefs. You know - kinda like you did when career criminal George Floyd died. @NFL@NBA@WNBA@MLB@NHL
Appreciate the @Yankees for holding a moment of silence tonight.
@dcunited It’s so disappointing to see the state my club is in right now. Disgusting performance on showcase for our icons tonight. I think I can safely speak for every dcu fan to #SellTheTeam.
Sponsors ok with Redskins, DC Council ok with Redskins, DC Mayor ok with Redskins. Already going back to Redskin unis, already own the trademark for Redskins, creator of logos family want logo back. Fans overwhelmingly support going back to the Redskins. Sounds like a no brainer.
Even when I came to DC in 2006, the club had a special place in this community and felt very much rooted in the present - and still played attractive soccer every now and then. Here’s to hoping the club can truly reconnect with THAT aspect of its past.
Good to see DC United reconnecting more with its history on its socials, etc. I mean that. Thing is - if you’re largely irrelevant in the present, and consistently bad on the field, that stuff rings hollow or can even come across as a smokescreen, or desperate.
#DCU Not for the first time this season, DCU implodes and you have to question how Troy keeps his job. Yes, he has a crap roster. He can't make his players stop making critical errors. But the fact remains that this team goes in to give-up mode way too many times. @davejsports
