I wonder whether a CJI who has to file a revision petition every other day to undo the damage he has caused with his reckless remarks can be treated as the first among equals by his brother and sister judges any longer. He's embarassing them all. #CJPProtest#SC#Judiciary
Despite having its own judgment to livestreaming of court proceedings, the continued failure to implement it in both letter and spirit speaks volumes. This appears to be about more than privacy, it raises questions about avoiding public scrutiny.
An institution shaped by over two centuries of colonial legacy risks remaining an ivory tower, insulated from accountability and public scrutiny. Orders that have the effect of restricting public access or expression may protect the institution from public embarrassment,
Since when did @UnivofDelhi decide its official handle was better suited for issuing threats than disseminating relevant information? Didn’t realise “intellectual inquiry” had been replaced with “official intimidation”. Quite the evolution for a central university. Shameful!
Dear students and faculty, your safety matters to us. Please note that any unlawful assemblies or demonstrations at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, which are strictly regulated as per the directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, may invite legal action. Such activities can also pose serious risks to students’ personal safety and significantly impact their academic progress and professional opportunities. Accordingly, all students are urged to stay away from Jantar Mantar and to prioritise their safety and compliance with the law. Furthermore, you are advised to exercise caution as a significant amount of fake and misleading content is being created and circulated to fuel the situation.
Amid the ongoing protests at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, Supreme Court lawyers gather for a recitation of the Preamble to the Constitution at the Supreme Court lawns today under the banner, "Save Democracy, Save Constitution." #SupremeCourt
...and accountability. When institutions that are expected to safeguard the rights and dignity of women and children respond selectively depending on who is in power, it inevitably raises questions about their impartiality and credibility.
@Cockroachisback@LtGovDelhi@BJP4India
Appalled and disappointed that the @NCPCR_ , @NCWIndia , and even the @India_NHRC have remained silent over the @DelhiPolice 's brutality against young protesters. Videos appearing to show women and even a child being slapped in public deserve serious scrutiny...
Dedicated roads for motor vehicles? Cute.
In Gurgaon, pedestrians are treated like trespassers, while bikes happily take over footpaths. And the traffic marshals near Millennium Metro? Mostly spectators to the chaos.
When people celebrate bulldozer justice n encounters killing, the rule of law takes a back seat. #Illegal#encounter of #BharatTiwari in #Arrah, #Bihar, is a classic example of #state#terror. A society can't thrive when due process is replaced by extrajudicial killing.
Why does the government always seem to act only after such incidents occur? Accountability and preventive action should be the priority, not reactive responses. @ashishsood_bjp@gupta_rekha
#WATCH | Malviya Nagar fire | Delhi Minister Ashish Sood says, "The building owner who is responsible for negligence will be arrested. We will not spare any illegal building and those found guilty."
@Uber_India I made a ride on Friday from Indrapuram habitat to Vaishali metro station and paid the rider through upi, still payment is reflecting unpaid as outstanding. Please look as I'm unable to book another ride without paying the outstanding. @Uber_Support@Uber
This double standard not only undermines the rule of law but also disrespects the honour and dignity of our armed forces. The silence and inaction speak volumes.

I'm deeply appalled that the Hon’ble High Court of Madhya Pradesh had to step in and take suo motu cognizance to ensure an FIR is registered against MP Minister Vijay Shah for his derogatory remarks against a decorated officer of the Indian Armed Forces.

It's matter of grave concern and shameful that the MP Police failed to act promptly, reflecting a disturbing pattern of selective enforcement. Had such a comment been made by an opposition leader, FIRs would have been filed across the country within hours.
