For nearly 2.5 years, Odisha has witnessed an alarming slowdown in regular recruitment in higher education.

🔹 The SSB Lecturer recruitment case has remained pending in the Odisha High Court for more than 2.5 years.
🔹 Thousands of qualified aspirants continue to wait for recruitment in aided colleges.
🔹 Students are paying the price as many institutions continue to depend on guest and retired faculty instead of regular appointments.

Odisha's youth deserve opportunities. Students deserve qualified, permanent teachers. A strong higher education system cannot be built on temporary arrangements alone.

I urge the Higher Education Department to:
✅ Take proactive steps to resolve the SSB Lecturer issue.
✅ Start regular recruitment in universities, government degree colleges, and aided colleges.
✅ Publish a transparent recruitment calendar and restore confidence among students and job aspirants.

The future of Odisha's higher education cannot be delayed any longer.
