It feels crazy having to get to know yourself again

Survived 4 hours at the pumpkin patch as a single mother of four. ALONE. 30 minutes in, I wanted to bawl my eyes out and head home. I didn’t. I’m glad I sucked it up, and did that. We left 30 minutes prior to closing time. Like, I’m never gonna settle for less. I’ve got this 💛

I’m 24 years old, and I’m just now finding out that the grandmother we never met (Dad’s mom) died of Leukemia at 23 years old..... I’m in literal shock. It’s in our family history, and I never knew.

Sometimes I’m so deep in my depression, and feel completely done. Then my kids tell me something like, “ you’re the best mommy ever “ and I’m immediately reminded that I do kick ass for my kids on my own. I’m one hell of a mom, and that’s everything 🥲🥲🥲
