@sazmeister88 No words… I have no answers, solutions or cures. The World, correction, I mean Humankind; is fucking itself to death. We exist on the smallest glimmers of sunshine some days; this little ray of light might happen on rainy days too and occasionally, people can bring a little sun
@sazmeister88 I find the thought euphoric. A simple, comfortable, sensory numb/instant emptiness where thought, pain, anxiety, guilt and suffering is not registered nevermind measured. I could also manage a slow slipping away…
@sazmeister88 I don’t dislike you, you seem quite likeable to me here in the #Twitterverse but tbf, I’ve not actually met you, so it’s possible you’re an awful person 🤔 however, based on evidence in front of me, I’m going with my on-field decision of liking you 😊keep up the great attitude👍
Gove’s faked snot-and-tears tantrum was even uglier than it looked.
This is what Tories do now
If you criticise them, you’re unpatriotic
If you oppose them, you’re ‘playing politics’
As if every crisis makes them untouchable, regardless of how v shit they are at responding to it.
‘The West made a terrible mistake with Putin in 2014’ says Boris Johnson, and launches an urgent investigation to find out which government was running the UK at the time.
@nytimes Oleksandra Kuvshynva, the @FoxNews Ukrainian producer, was also killed. Those of us working in Ukraine are entirely reliant on brave Ukrainian journalists and drivers. They are sacrificing a lot - in this terrible case, Kuvshynova sacrificed her very life - to get the story out.
It doesn’t seem to be common knowledge in the UK, so I’m going to repeat this here: Therese May quietly removed oversight of MI6 from Boris Johnson when he was Foreign Secretary.
Why?
Because he was a security risk!

People in this country are using the fact that Putin is arresting people for protesting against the government, as proof of Dictatorship, while ignoring that Johnsons government is pushing a bill through Parliament, that allows them to arrest protesters against the government.
The govt default setting.
Bigotry. Meanness. Division.
The assumption that the vulnerable are the dangerous freeloaders and not the wealthy. The ugly enthusiasm for creating fear of ‘the other’ because exploiting people’s inadequacies for votes is easier than being any good.
