2) Three out of every four anchors (among a total of 40 anchors in Hindi channels and 47 in English channels) are upper caste. Not one is Dalit, Adivasi, or OBC.
My counter Qs: will a caste census really ensure greater newsroom diversity? Or isn’t what we really need is an equal opportunities project?

There was no such thing as Pakistan before 14th August 1947… so how can a country become independent when it’s not even born??

India has been there for thousands of years, but it only achieved full independence when the British left.

@RailMinIndia the excuses for staff not coming to the First Class coach on Train 12519 is that the Coach is at the end of the train!
Whose fault is this ?? How can such excuses justify the Railway fare you are charging ??!! Not even basic care of Hygiene is being taken @PMOIndia

@RailMinIndia I am travelling in Train no 12519 (boarded from LTT yesterday) in First Class with my 60+yrs bed ridden mother. Been 32 hrs & NO STAFF has come for any service. We had to go & request one to clean the room. No Pantry service at all (1)
