I’m a very chilled person but i’m strict when it comes to my principles. I can’t tell you what to do, but i can tell you what you are not going to do with me.
Anything I do for someone comes from a place of love. You'll never have to question my intentions or wonder if there's a hidden agenda behind my kindness. If I care about you, it's real and not transactional. I show up because I choose to, not because I need anything from you.
my friend once told me “if he ddnt happen to you, you’d be so much happier” and i just sat in silence because yeah i would be. no regrets would do it all over again ofcourse but i know i would be a happier person now if certain things didn’t happen
the part “being yourself is far more rewarding than being someone’s favourite. stay where your presence is valued, your efforts are appreciated, and your absence is felt”
people have their favourites and you might not be one of them. you could have a great relationship with someone, always show up for them, give your best and even go out of your way to make them feel special.. yet still not be the person they cherish most. it stings at first but that’s life. people love differently and their affection is not always tied to effort, loyalty or consistency. sometimes the person they adore isn’t doing half of what you do but that’s not your cue to compete for a place in someone's heart. it’s your cue to rest, remain genuine and understand that being yourself is far more rewarding than being someone’s favourite. stay where your presence is valued, your efforts are appreciated, and your absence is felt.
