@KarlKFI @claytonolley Agreed. This is what we have found in large scale deployments. @AviNetworks (now part of VMware), we redesigned the unified L4 LB+L7 ingress to run as VMs outside the K8s cluster. Gets you horizontal scaling, higher performance, and a single hop routing directly to the pods.
