I booked a ride yesterday and the driver was begging me to go offline. His reason, “I am left with little after paying commission.”

It is really crazy to see grown up men having to beg for more tips.

In fact, I have been seeing a lot of driver frustration online this week. But one thing that stood out to me is SimpliRide.

I learned that the company charges drivers a flat ₦1,500 a day..no commission, ever. Worth a look if you're driving in Lagos.
