@maggieKTVB7 About six weeks ago my friend told me that they have an acquaintance who lives right by the house and their ring picked up whimpers, a cry, and a thud. It’s unreal to see that exact thing written in the affidavit.
@marklewismd Take comfort fellow infertility patients... at least you are "judged to be more attractive than those in the two control groups...with a leaner silhouette, larger breasts, and an earlier coitarche."
Stop the madness. 🤢
@APA_Style When citing, if the group or org has a commonly used abbreviation (CDC, WHO) do you define the group in and then use square brackets for the abbreviated format? ie (Centers for Disease Control [CDC], 2019)

@SIntropido @PhDVoice@firstphdchat@AcademicChatter Perfection is the enemy of progress. If you can’t think of the academic words to explain what you’re thinking - just write what you’re thinking. You can edit it later.
@cindy1236785325 @CadeyHarrel When the first question I ask is “will my care be impacted”… that’s a sad day. I can’t imagine if the answer would have been yes. I would have lost my mind for my unborn child - who we have been fighting for since 2019 via IVF. This little boy is our miracle. #infertility#ivf
@Swilua Immm. I can imagine what that means but I’m getting the courage to google this. I hope it’s not like the time I googled images of “nut sac” to show my husband why he needed this brand for his new computer bag. 😱
Today I experienced life on the other side of the bed & was greeted with this. My first question was “am I going to get care today? Will this impact me?” Reality check.

@klkram13 @PhDVoice@OpenAcademics@DisabledAcadem@AcademicChatter My “mentor” was my chair and she was terrible! As soon as I defended, I cut all ties.
Good news? I learned a lot from her - meaning exactly what to never do or be as a professor, a professional, a mentor. Now I make it a point to be better. #knowbetter
@steph_teasley I mentioned this once myself … and it opened a huge can of worms.
I’m (still) continually shocked at the lack of people who support actual science. 🙄
