I got hacked and lost access to @baseapp with around $7K in total losses.

Last night someone on Telegram messaged me saying he could build a website for $MCPCAT. I agreed and later he sent me a PDF. I downloaded it but didn’t even open it.

I went to sleep around 1 AM. Around 2 PM my friends called me asking if I had removed the liquidity. I woke up, turned on my laptop, and noticed it kept shutting down.

Then my friend told me someone had removed the liquidity from $MCPCAT.

When I tried to log into Baseapp on my phone I realized that all 4 Gmail accounts logged into my laptop had been compromised. Someone also tried to access my X, but thankfully, they couldn’t get in because of 2FA.

Right now I’ve lost access to my Gmail and Baseapp. I’ve mail @Google and I really hope they can help me recover everything.

My main Baseapp wallet is still logged in on my phone but I need a verification code sent to my Gmail to make any transaction and I no longer have access to it.

If anyone can help me recover access

After I posted about being hacked some people started saying I rugged.

I want to make this clear:

I burned every token I received and I also bought $MCPCAT myself and burned it.

I didn’t even know I could remove liquidity from @AerodromeFi. If someone had told me I would have locked the liquidity.

If I wanted to rug I would have done it at the ATH, not at the lowest point.

I’ve also lost around $2K from my own wallet.

I’ve given my Dell laptop to a service center to get it checked and fixed. Honestly, I don’t even know if I’ll be able to use that laptop again.

After this, I don’t know if I’ll be able to trust people again. I’m even scared to reply to random messages on Telegram.

And honestly, I don’t even know if I want to continue in Web3 anymore. 😭

I know how it feels to lose money, and I’m deeply sorry to everyone who lost money because of this.

I’m going to do what I can to make things right and refund a portion of the losses from my own money.

How Agent Cat $MCPCAT started on @base 🐈

Agent Cat was deployed using BaseMCP + @baseapp through Claude AI.

A few months ago Base launched BaseMCP letting us use AI to interact with Base. But we couldn’t create tokens with it.

So I asked BaseMCP to create one. It said it couldn’t, but I prompted it to use Create V2 and somehow it minted the token.

I provided 500 USDC for liquidity on @AerodromeFi which was also done through BaseMCP in Claude

Everything happened onchain and you can read the full chat between me and Claude.
