Who built this society? Men.
Who wrote the rules, stamped them as “tradition,” and handed them down like sacred law? Men.
And now we’re supposed to sit quietly while those same “traditions” become a shield for violence, for violation, for the dehumanization of women? No. Absolutely not.
Let’s be honest for a second strip away the culture talk, the moral packaging, the “this is how it has always been” excuse. Too many of these so called traditions were born from the minds of men who wanted power without accountability. Men who dressed their darkest desires in the clothing of culture so no one would question them.
And when women speak up?
We’re told to respect it.
To endure it.
To stay quiet.
But respect is not silence in the face of harm. Tradition is not an excuse for abuse. Culture is not a free pass for cruelty.
Women are not objects to be touched, controlled, or humiliated.
Women are not background characters in a society they literally give life to.
Let that sink in.
Every single one of these men came into this world through a woman. And yet, the same system they uphold treats women as disposable, as lesser, as if their pain is negotiable.
It’s exhausting. It’s infuriating. And it’s evil.
A society that normalizes the violation of women is not a society worth defending it’s one that needs to be challenged, dismantled, and rebuilt from the ground up.
Because women are not “second options.”
Women are not “less than.”
Women are not here to endure violence disguised as tradition.
We are human. Fully. Completely. Undeniably.
And no culture, no custom, no so called tradition has the right to take that away.
