Venti and Ei seem to be personification of pure elements (Ei is a bit obscure still, but I assume she and her twin were thunder and lightning manifested) but I think Zhongli is from beyond with his "Heaven's star" title.

Part of what turned me off from Natlan was how it felt like they were trying too hard. Felt like begging for us to like it and tbh I didn't... The part of Natlan I liked was separated from the main cast (dragon world quest).
