After thirty three years of commitment and service to the congregation in Aylmer, I will be taking a sabbatical leave from my pastoral role.

The sabbatical will begin this month and continue for some time - a period during which I will be engaging in activities that not only replenish my spirit, but deepen my connection with God and His plan for our world in this increasingly troubled time. This period is not only a time of rest from some of my labours but a time to focus on and pursue personal spiritual growth, study, and, most importantly, the opportunity to learn from and be refreshed by my spiritual mentors.

In my absence, we have arranged for capable ministers to lead our congregation and continue the work unabated. I am confident that our community will remain strong, connected, and dedicated to the Lord. I ask for your prayers and while I will not be immediately available as I have been to this point, I will still be answering emails, keeping my social media accounts active, and maintaining the strengths of all my connections.

People said we rejected the COVID narrative because we wanted attention and notoriety. False. This pic is from 4 yrs ago today when Sunday services were limited to 50 people. We did our best to comply with multiple services a week to accommodate the demand from the congregation.
