Our own side forgets that Trump rocked COVID. He closed the borders, used the DPA to get PPE and vents, sent naval hospital ships to major ports, pushed HCQ and IVM, acquired them and endorsed repurposing therapeutics. He had a Federalist approach and left policy up to state executives. Even OWS was a deregulatory dream. Conservatives beg for cutting red tape, and he never forced the vaccines on anyone.
