“Mom?! Oh, son of a bitch!”
Eagerly running over to Anna’s side, placing an arm around her mother to help her walk.
“Okay, I’ve got a first aid kit in my backpack. Here.”
She helped Anna sit on a tree stump, examining the wound before threading a needle.
“Okay… Ready?”
Today was no Anna's day. She had her hand pressed against her side, blood gushing out. She'd managed to encounter some bandits whilst she was on patrol, it was just her fucking luck.
It was a stab wound, fortunately not deep enough to be fatal, but she needed some help.
@BIRTHEDCURE “Oh my god!”
Covering her eyes briefly to hide the tears prickling down her cheeks, taking the options of records.
Then she proceeded to throw her arms around her mothers neck, hugging her tightly.
“Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”
She couldn't help but look at this picture each night. Her biggest regret was not having a place for Ellie to call home the moment she was born.
She'd do everything for her kid to have a good future, even in a shitty world like this.
“Hell yeah! My favorite.”
Ellie began to eat her breakfast, a satisfied grin on her face while she ate.
“Thanks for the food, mama.”
She answered, through a forkful of eggs in her mouth.
“Ugh… Okay, fine.”
Ellie answered, scurrying to her feet and putting on a sweatshirt over her pajamas.
“Oooh, what’s for breakfast? I’ll get dressed and shower after I eat.”
@IMMUNITYLOVED “Hey, don’t talk to me like that! I love you, Dina. You have better things to do than punch this stupid punching bag.”
Despite being the first time Ellie admitted to loving Dina, she turned away, starting to walk away.
“Dina, babe… Seriously, get in the house! JJ’s crying because he’s worried and I’m worried about you too.”
Ellie sighed sadly, carrying JJ outside because he was upset.
Cue Dina outside of the farmhouse in the pouring rain with her hood over her head working out in the backyard punching a bag without wrapping her hands up, she’s frustrated and she doesn’t care that her knuckles are getting bloody and bruised
Ellie headed over to where her mother laid peacefully, placing Anna’s jacket back around her shoulders.
“Here, mom. Figured you’d like your jacket back.”
