At the start of the window Arsenal needed a back up goal keeper, an experienced midfielder to be third choice & a young defender to learn off Saliba & allow him to rest.
We’ve done all of the above and added a top class midfielder and it’s still June.
On top of that, have had Gabriel & Lewis-Skelly sign new contacts whilst continuing talks with Saka & Saliba.
If you’re unable to see Arsenal are making progress with all of the above then you’re literally just looking for a reason to complain.
As long as this is all followed by two forward signings, then it’s a fantastic window for the club.
All the eggs are now in the forward market.
Genuinely don’t think I’ve ever seen “featured in a cup final” as a metric for success until this season
Especially when at a minimum 2 of those 5 will have lost theirs final
Liverpool fans are losers. It's in their blood. Even occasionally winning is not enough for them—they don't feel superior to Arsenal.
They must prove to some audience that they are worthier. Loser energy. Even when you win, you must compare.
How many times this season have we said a Liverpool player was lucky to stay on the pitch? How many times this season have we said an Arsenal player was sent off for no good reason? It’s a shame this title race wasn’t decided by how good both teams actually are.
The owners of the club gave up on a title this season.
Thank you to the coach for keeping us alive for as long as he could have. Thank you to the players for running till the end.
We go again next season.
After all the outrage about Myles Lewis-Skelly, and all the faux outrage about #Arsenal’s celebrations, City do this against the biggest club in the world. What a poetic evening it turned out to be. #AFC
They were angry at Arsenal for drawing 2-2 with 10 men at the Etihad. They are now angry at Arsenal for winning 5-1 at home.
The common denominator is Arsenal. They hate that we are good. And this is the last gimmick they have.
When it comes to big moves, there’s only one man who knows what’s what.

Why do people keep highlighting Artetas €700m spend as if it’s loads of money? Maybe 20 years ago it was a lot. Today it’s nothing. Especially for 6 years worth of spending.
Ten Hag spent €500m in 2 years and built one of the worst teams anyone has ever seen.
Ange has spent €400m in 1.5 years and took his team from 5th to 12th.
Maresca has a €1.5billion squad and still might not even qualify for the champions league.
To the dismay of some politicians and women’s groups, the player, in his 30s, has continued to play on a full salary for his club

Reporter: Other managers in the past have complained about match ball, do you feel it’s different and affected the result?
Arteta: It’s different to the PL, it flies different but you have to adapt.
