@MustangMan_TX I love to get their large queso and chips, which also comes with salsa and then I order a pint of their ground beef and I make queso con Carne at home. So good. 😋🤠🔥
@DedeLovett@johnrich Very true. All the things we mocked about Aggies at UT were all the things I loved most about being an Aggie after I transferred there.
Since I went to both schools I can say Texas A&M is way more fun to be a student and has deeper connection for the rest of your life. UT is in a much more fun city and area to live in, but the camaraderie doesn’t and can’t *begin* to compare to TAMU. I’ll root for UT against anyone else - unless it’s an Aggie team. 👍🤠🤘
@GigaBeers Excellent analysis. Deeply insightful and astute. I think the nation is proud of who she chose to become, with intention, and with absolute refusal to let the worst 9 months of her life determine every aspect of the rest of the months of her life.
@ImaNeerDoWell@MustangMan_TX Who are you talking to? All of the mass shooters are murderers and deserve punishment. Just like this woman who murdered her children deserves to be punished. They are guilty of mass murder.
It’s good for everyone that women’s rights proponents in the past changed laws such that women could own property, have their own bank accts, etc. That is what “feminism” means to me. The legal playing field was made even.
All the rest of this stuff where men are “bad,” and marriage and kids is some kind of prison, and subscribing to crazy ideas is not any type of feminism to me. It’s rather resentment, insecurity, and mental instability.
There’s no “either you become a devoted housewife and mother and eviscerate your personality and personal hopes and dreams” or “be single your whole life and never have kids and be a ‘boss girl’ and hammer your career.” Those are just silly reductions to some cartoon characters.
Of course you can marry and have children and hold very satisfying jobs and have a husband whom you love and support, as he loves and supports you. You can have children while pursuing things that professionally interest you. These things aren’t “sacrificing your freedom.” That’s silly. They are elements of life that enrich you. They are avenues of experience that bring you closer to a really full picture of who you are, for both the man and the woman.
Don’t believe people saying it’s got to be one way or the other. It’s just nonsense.
@LTDInSpace@redsteeze I still call my kids Children of the Corn 🌽 & they call me Mother of the Corn 🌽. It’s endearing. And I almost forgot - oh so very traumatic.
Yeah…sure… Your country has plenty of people waiting months and months to get seen by a doctor or for a needed surgery while their cancer turns fatal. Great healthcare… And it’s not free, either - the people are taxed to pay for it. Some of these free healthcare countries have 60% tax rates. No thanks. Stay in your lane.
