@anaisisreading It's AAAALLLL in the details! Hair, fabric wrinkles, plants, nature elements, fingers, and decorative elements like jewelry. Sometimes even the hands are two different art styles or the OG Artist's signature is still there, just chopped up.
@katriaraden To quote Forrest Gump, "Stupid is as stupid does."
Guess a lot of genAI users are gonna FAFO that you don't automatically get recognition or payment for a design you don't have a contract or paywall for on the internet.
@FlyingTrilobite Artists grind so much harder both for their craft & to survive than these tech bros can fathom. We create beautiful things from nothing. Destroyers always hate, steal, & consume creator works. There's no appreciation just entitlement. Jealous projection is a truly trippy thing.
If you complain about me using a stamp because of my disabilities, I won't be signing your book or have anything to do with you. Us disabled authors don't owe you shit when it comes to our disabilities. We are putting ink to paper for you regardless, so what's the problem??
@axl99 YES!!!!! *crisp high five about the snails* And don't even get me started on natural dyes!!! Or the dangers of certain minerals or ingredients. And there are far better carriers than egg whites, omg. They mined Wikipedia just for a point to seem like they knew something.
@Zinovia__ @ZakugaMignon Your example shows your lack of knowledge. Artists learn about creating their own paint from teachers or books, not just the internet. The knowledge is passed down or rediscovered. And there at far better carriers than egg whites Mx Wikipedia 🙄.
Round 2 : #DeleteTheDatasets
1/5) AI illegally scrapped the web and gathered artwork, photographs, writing, voices & more. Used those stolen goods and packaged it up to resell to the world - to compete in the same markets they stole from. AI is unethical, immoral, and exploitive
@ZakugaMignon Lol nope! I co-host a monster romance podcast called Smut Tea Stories and we don't read or promote books made with AI, either. They're the antithesis of what creative literary and artistic expression is supposed to be.
@ZakugaMignon OOF! Yeah, no. As an actual illustrator and author who has been drawing since 2000, I take those authors to task. That's not how this works. That's not how ANY of this works!
@ZakugaMignon taking them to task. But you? They're scared of you. As they should be. If it makes you feel better, I have been called out in dms because there are 2-3 gAIart accounts I follow. It's made me so happy and I've explained that the only reason why is to keep an eye on the beast.
@ZakugaMignon There are a bunch of indie authors and people in the book community openly against gAI art. You're a bastion for artists facing this. So it's no surprise that those in favor of gAI art block you. They don't want to be held accountable. They blow off their own community 2/
@ZakugaMignon I've seen it most in Discord servers for authors. We try not to broadcast call it out if we can help it. Mostly because we're hoping the ignorance can be informed and changed. Also because a lot of us are neurospicy and hate confrontation. *shrugs*
@ZakugaMignon It IS happening, there's just a lot of it happening in the background. Anti-gAI clauses are even being added to anthology contracts now. There's a quiet refusal by anti-gAI indie authors to work with or support those that are pro-gAI. 2/
@ZakugaMignon So many of us indie authors who are against gAI do, and it gets downright viscous sometimes in servers. It's why you see more open stances from indie authors about for/against gAI on social media. And a lot of us against it quietly block and avoid those that are for it. 1/
