I am fully convinced that 2019 was the last normal year we ever had. Ever since then, it feels like everything’s broken. Everyone is constantly anxious, time moves too fast, and nothing actually feels real anymore. The world as we knew it is just gone
1000s of years of:
Culture, families, marriages, homes, children, traditions, language, music, stories, folklore, religion and beliefs, communities, ancestors, heritage, art and craftsmanship, agriculture and farming, food and recipes, clothing and textiles, festivals and celebrations, songs and dance, architecture, land stewardship, knowledge passed down, names and lineages, skills and trades, conflicts and peace, friendships and alliances, migration and settlement, identity and pride, memory and history, survival and resilience, love and loss, laws and customs, burial grounds and ancestors’ resting places, languages and dialects, wisdom of the land and sea, stories of origin and belonging, generations growing, learning and teaching, cultural evolution and preservation.
Defend it.
i'm convinced when you REKINDLE a relationship with someone (friend, family, ex, etc ) something will ALWAYS resurface to show you why you should have left it burned and dried up.
Awake at 2:30am again, livid at what Labour is putting the disabled community through. Restless—thinking how we fight, harm-minimise, keep each other safe, and make sure no one is left behind.
