#prehistoricgold Lock-rings have been found mostly in pairs in Ireland, Britain & France, made from both sheet metal and wire. Irish examples made exclusively from fine strip-twisted wire vary from 18-100mm D. Function? Not sure but they are examples of superb LBA goldsmithing.
