Don't let a 10-minute problem consume a 24-hour day. The email was uncomfortable. The train was late. The conversation went poorly. Feel it, deal with it, then allow the rest of your life to remain intact.
Sometimes you have to admit you're the reason your life is off track, so you can finally become the reason it gets better. Judge no one, fix yourself, and move forward.
Adulthood is actually so ew lmao ??? Every damn day you have to call someone or do something or pay for something or go somewhere like I’m actually so over this
Some pple are natural criers. They cry when excited, they cry in grief, they cry in laughter, they cry in rage, they literally cry at any slight emotional experience or state. This is how their bodies process experiences in real time. And that’s okay.
Massively. Big distance makes good habits harder. You can get a job closer to work and just find yourself losing weight. All of a sudden gym is possible. All of a sudden you’re not too tired to cook. Your social life picks up cos you can accommodate after work drinks with friends. You can be a whole different person simply by working closer to home.
Sending love to everyone who feels... behind. Behind on love, behind on career, behind on healing. You are not late to your own life. There is still so much time for things to change, grow, and make sense.
Sorry, I’m not free this weekend. On Friday night, I’m busy recovering from the 5 day work week. Saturday is only 45 minutes long, and on Sunday, I’m totally tied up with a series of panic attacks because Monday is literally 30 minutes away.
