I’ve noticed a lot of older women (30+ typically) like to pretend that they’ve never been naive, wrong or stupid about a man ever in their life. The amount of women I see who belittle and talk down on younger women for making mistakes, is astounding. And that’s how I know that many women haven’t worked through their own internalized shame, because social comparison is extremely prevalent when other women are open about their history, grievances and poor experiences with men.
