It’s easy to live uptight, frustrated, worried, but most of the things that are upsetting us, in the big picture, don’t really matter. You’re alive; you’re healthy. God has given you breath to breathe. He’s given you a family to love.
A key to faith is trusting when you don’t understand, trusting when you don’t have the answers, trusting when it seems like it’s just the opposite of what you were hoping.
Do the right thing even if it’s late. It’s not too late. Do the right thing even if it’ll be a mess. Do the right thing even if you’ll lose the approval of those you think you need. This is integrity: doing the right thing whatever the even ifs. God WILL handle the consequences.
It is not always easy to know what God has planned for us, but we can be assured that whatever it is, He is ready to equip us with what we need to endure and hold on to that place for as long as He wants us there.
When you swallow your pride and say, “This may not make sense, but I’m going to do what God is asking me to do.” Your promotion, your healing, your breakthrough, the next level, it’s in your humility.
