The program will first roll out at 65–75 hospitals that largely serve low-income communities before expanding statewide. Backed by millions in state funding and in partnership with nonprofit Baby2Baby, the initiative aims to give newborns a healthier start while helping parents focus less on the cost of essentials and more on welcoming their new baby home.
