Everyone needs encouragement. Never underestimate the impact that random words of encouragement can have on others. They can brighten a person's day and light a fire inside of them.

Do your job, and do it well.
Head down, grind every day, and commit fully to what you’re responsible for. Stay focused on your assignment, your growth, and your goals. Don’t get distracted by what other people are doing, saying, or achieving.
Control what you can control: your effort, your attitude, your preparation, and your discipline. If you take care of the details in front of you, everything else will take care of itself over time.

USE SOCIAL MEDIA TO YOUR RECRUITING ADVANTAGE.
One of the biggest benefits of today's recruiting landscape is that nearly every athletic program, at every level, has a social media presence. Head coaches, assistant coaches, recruiting coordinators, and programs are active on platforms like X, Instagram, and others. They're using social media to promote their programs, connect with recruits, and scout talent.
You do not have to be a social media expert to make it work for you. Consistently posting content such as highlight videos, game and tournament schedules, game clips, athletic accomplishments, academic achievements, and community involvement can help coaches learn more about who you are as a student-athlete. Make it easy for coaches to find you, evaluate you, and follow your journey. Your next opportunity could come from a post they happen to see!

Find YOUR home.
It’s okay if your home isn’t where others wanted you to go or where they expected you to be. What matters is finding a place where you are valued, supported, and given the opportunity to grow. Choose the place that feels right for you, your goals, and your future. The right fit is always worth it.
The best signing out. 😢 Thank you, @jordybahl, for showing us what perseverance, faith, and resilience look like. An incredible college career and an even more incredible story. Thank you for inspiring so many along the way!❤️

#WCWS x @HuskerSoftball
Jordy Frahm left college softball better than she found it.
Her poise, her competitiveness and her love for the people around her is what I’ll always respect the most.
Thank you for helping @HuskerSoftball and @B1Gsoftball reach new heights. ❤️
There are athletes at every level from youth all the way to professional that know how good they are and use that, but have the worst character and attitude. Sadly, some coaches let it fly. I have never been that coach and I hate to see when it happens. It does not matter how talented you are. If you show up with a bad attitude, you are always late, and you are not meeting the standards of the program, it impacts the entire culture! Talent is never above accountability.
When I check my mailbox and find graduation invitations, receive tickets to games, or get a text or call just to catch up on life, I'm reminded of what truly matters.
Person over player. It's always been about more than wins and losses. The greatest reward is pouring into young lives, watching them grow, achieve their dreams, and become the people they were meant to be. Those relationships and moments are a reminder that the impact goes far beyond the game and lasts a lifetime.❤️
My former FCA leaders and students, hats off to them for an incredible run! So proud of these guys. Great coaches. Great athletes. Even better human beings. It has been a joy watching and following their unforgettable season. Wishing them nothing but the best in their next chapter! @PantherCreekBsb 👏🏾⚾️
FINAL: Brock 5, Frisco Panther Creek 2
@PantherCreekBsb battles late with two runs in the 7th, including an RBI single by Graylyn Fry, and even manages to bring the tying run to the plate, but a grounder ends it as Panther Creek's historic year concludes in the state semifinals.
Everyone’s journey to success is different, and some people may have it easier than others because of who they are, where they come from, or what they have. So be it if your path looks different or takes longer. Don’t doubt yourself or think you will never get there because of who you are, where you come from, or what you have. Do not let that discourage you or become an excuse. Stay focused on your path, keep building, and keep working toward where you want to be.

Conversations about what you really want in a program and in your overall college journey are important. Those conversations should be with the people you trust most, who genuinely have your best interest in mind. These conversations should happen often and earlier rather than later. It also makes your recruiting journey much easier when you consistently go back to what you value most and what you truly want, so you do not get distracted or drift away from what you originally set out for.
