I would like to sincerely thank the UTA coaching staff, my teammates, and fans for their unwavering support and the meaningful relationships we've developed over the past two seasons. I am truly grateful for the opportunities and experiences that have contributed to my growth both as a person and a player on and off the field. After much prayer and careful consideration, I have made the decision to enter the transfer portal in order to continue my education and pursue my baseball aspirations. I'm excited to see what God has planned for the next chapter in my journey.

One of the things that separates us from other people is our ability to be strict and self-disciplined.
Where other people are fine making excuses or taking shortcuts, we are not.
Where other people wing it or do what’s easiest, taking the path of least resistance, we don’t.
Uncommitted sophomore outfielder from Northwest Florida state. Looking for an opportunity at a 4 year school.

Just dropped a new podcast with JUCO coach @_CoachJMartin (North Lake College)…
If you’re a player trying to get recruited, this is one you need to hear.
He gets 20+ DMs a day from players…
Most of them get ignored.
Here’s why ⬇️
• The biggest mistake players make when reaching out:
They overcomplicate everything.
Long messages
Every stat imaginable
Too much info
Coaches don’t want to think that hard.
Simple wins.
• What a coach ACTUALLY wants:
“Hey coach, here’s my schedule. I play [position]. 10 second video.”
That’s it.
Short. Clear. Done.
• Video mistakes that kill your chances:
– Clips that are too long
– Zoomed out GameChanger film
– Too many videos in one post
Coaches aren’t breaking down your swing in the DM.
They’re deciding if you’re worth seeing live.
• Something most players don’t realize:
Jimmy prefers to watch players…
without them knowing he’s there.
Because that’s when you see:
– Body language
– Effort
– How they act after failure
That matters more than your stats.
• The difference between JUCO levels:
It’s not just talent.
It’s:
– Confidence
– Routine
– Consistency
– Not letting one bad play affect the next
Same age players… completely different mindset.
• His biggest takeaway:
“You’ve gotta be desperate to get out.”
Most players say they want it…
Very few actually operate like they do.
• One underrated separator:
Base running.
Sounds simple—but most players:
– Take bad leads
– Don’t read angles
– Can’t score from second
That stuff shows up FAST to coaches.
If you’re serious about playing at the next level…
This episode will give you a much clearer picture of what actually matters.
