@WatcherGuru And he is right to suggest this. PCE forecasts showing anywhere from 2.8%-3.3% for 2025, well above the 2% target. I would love for rates to get cut for easy money to be made on the market, but inflation reports would just further tank the market anyway. There is no gain by cuts.

Change the way endowments are taxed for colleges and universities. Endowments are not required to pay capital gains tax. Makes no sense that the excise tax on Endowments is only 1.4%. Make the rich pay their fair share.
@juliadallmer Colleges have become social status symbols and people will pay for an expensive school to say they went to an expensive/prestigious school. It’s the same reason why people buy Range Rovers and Mercedes instead of affordable and reliable versions of the same.
