In tireless waves
Of pallid hope
And futile days

Of smoke filled nights
Through nightmare haze
Where dreams succumb
And heartbeats glaze

We sink beneath
The underbrush
Of moss drenched steps
And lips bloomed lush

From whispered breath
Of souls dark thoughts
Bleeds ebbing light
And flows teardrops

A stitch of time
We break and bend
Til love succumbs
This bitter end
