I just read a post on LinkedIn from a woman whose husband suddenly died last month leaving her a widow with two small kids AND her employer laid her off today while she was on a bereavement leave.

And NO ONE in the comments is saying anything negative about the company.

Why? Why are we so individually minded that we can just give to the community? We don’t know if they need it just this once, if they need it seasonally due to certain breaks/layoffs🧵

Extra veggies in your garden you can’t possibly eat? Give them to your neighbors you know need it. Put a free stand on the side of the road
