@JishuaOW If AI becomes so useful that it permanently raises the unemployment rate (even to 100%!) that would obviously be a public policy problem.
There are clear solutions in that scenario, many of which are openly supported by otherwise tax-averse moguls of Silicon Valley.
@JishuaOW The simple reality is that AI is a technical innovation that will outcompete human labor in discrete industries, just as the computer put human computers out of business.
This is not a public policy problem.
@danteh because it is bad for the environment. because it steals intellectual property. because you're smarter and more understanding if you actually read what your professors give you to read. and obviously you know about the negative effects of ai. but even the reasons you think are
The problem with these quote tweets of Danteh is that Danteh is unambiguously correct and the quote tweets are entirely a reflection of the neuroticism of their authors.

Also - a piece of advice to anyone who is looking to defend against these Lifeweaver compositions on maps like Circuit Royale, just play Zenyatta.
When you play a flat composition that has better ranged damage, Lifeweaver just doesnโt have *any* reliable win conditions.
This video from @Ocie_Casts is a great summary of how pros are using Lifeweaver, and what some of his strengths and weaknesses are.
However, I think the video does miss a key principle of effective Lifeweaver - aggressive use of Petal and Tree of Life.

Itโs definitely accurate that on a flat, narrow map like Circuit Royale, Lifeweaver excels primarily on defense.
But speaking from experience, there are other maps where the hero is just better on attack, given the right composition. Petal is not just a defensive tool.
@CSHTF__ @Ocie_Casts@shadowfan1874@Nwf_12p Lifeweaver is generally more functional, like main supports typically are, when their other support lacks mobility.
In the particular case of LW, this means Ana, Zenyatta, and Illari. Baptiste and Kirko are relatively weaker pairings because they lack threat + have redundant CDs
@Ocie_Casts@Nwf_12p This is slightly wrong on the history - Baptiste-Zenyatta preceded the advent of Brigitte-Zenyatta compositions. Main supports were really on Baptiste because flex supports already had experience on Zenyatta, while Baptiste was the new hero.
@Ocie_Casts Mercy doesnโt need much to be functional - maybe adding some power to her ultimate (no res cast time?)
For Lifeweaver, the problem remains that his offensive utility, Petal, is too weak. Power could be added here through, e.g., damage reduction for anyone standing atop.
@Ocie_Casts The complaint during moth meta was often particularly that resurrect punished dive comps disproportionately, because too many resources were required to force resurrect.
That, fundamentally, is the value of peel. A tool to deal with and ultimately punish aggression.
