Nearly 6 in 10 Americans under 30 cannot identify how many Jews were murdered in the Holocaust. At a time when Holocaust knowledge is fading, the HEAL Act is more important than ever. Holocaust education is essential to preserving the memory of the six million Jewish lives taken during the Shoah and remains critical to combating antisemitism and hate.

The Nonprofit Security Grant Program is one of the most important tools for protecting the Jewish community and other vulnerable communities from violence and threats. We appreciate the House proposal to provide $315 million for NSGP, but demand continues to far exceed available funding, and the need for it has never been greater. As ADL's @_DanGranot put it: “Congress should fund NSGP at no less than $1 billion, reflecting the urgent needs of vulnerable communities across the country.”
