@gomiastri@RageGoat216 Oh absolutely. I think that just makes it even more tragic - she would have said yes, but he couldn’t help himself, he just had to force her into loving him to avoid putting himself in any discomfort whatsoever
@TheMaskedoneXD@DetectiveSpade_ £21.99 this time - I made the mistake of going standard thinking it’d be only £10 like you say and now really regret it…
@Nataly_Parks Whatever Happens from Invincible, Threatened from Invincible, Why You Wanna Trip On Me from Dangerous, Superfly Sister from Blood on the Dance Floor
@IsaqueCSouza Because he’s not a ‘Jacko’ as the media called him (and would be in part 2), he’s ‘Jackson’ - saw someone else say that and think it really works imo
@RavenAllMighty1@horrorguymick Saying it’s “objectively bad” is just nonsense. Don’t like it, fair enough, but it isn’t poorly made or executed in any sense
@basedgizmo@bradmiska There’s definitely been at least one UK DVD release, though I’m almost certain there’s been two, along with a set of the first four on DVD. Whether they’re uncut I can’t quite remember, but they exist
@mjsaura They aren’t kidding at the end there, Rock With You is one deceptive song - you start asking yourself if you’re even in the right key because of how easy MJ made it sound and how tough it is to actually make it through alive for us mortals 😅
@davidaldridgedc Totally missing the point of the scene. The point isn’t that “the worst thing is she would never have married”, the point is it was only ever going to be George Bailey, not Sam Wainwright as George was worried about. There was never a competition, it was always him
@hall_jamesr@HighDefDiscNews@UltraHDBluray@the4kCollectivE I think it’s just a testament to how insane the effects were at the time; using 65mm B&W and Vistavision in the process of the VFX shots will have ensured incredibly high picture quality, so it’s just a case of we can now in 2025 reflect that on physical media (I think?)
@stageyrebecca To be specific, 13th June 2015 is when it peaked: Adam Lambert releasing the balls and singing Ghost Town. It’s been downhill ever since, I reckon
@TheRalphRetort@razorfist Yeah I’m really surprised Keith Richards isn’t being considered in the same league as Lemmy and Ozzy were, in the sense that all three had a “these guys may actually be immortal” aura to them with all they managed to not only survive, but continue to thrive long after
@Captain_British@WhoCantCatchMe If Amazon lose the rights, they leave your library, regardless of how much you paid. It’s the big problem of digital only streaming, you aren’t paying for the item, you’re paying to be able to watch them for as long as the streaming service has them
@stageyrebecca Tried to book Gatsby with them on sale. Not only did my voucher not work - instead giving me an error - but the money came out without a ticket, and the seat was sold to someone else while I was awaiting a response about the voucher (which I’ve now been told is now unusable)
@Johnston_Farm @Oilfield_Rando You’ve literally proved you don’t know the plotline because not only were you wrong, but your “guesses” of explanations took place at the end of the first episode. What an actor says in interviews is irrelevant to the quality of the series
@Johnston_Farm @Oilfield_Rando Literally just watch the episode ffs before moaning online (also: get a life). Really playing into the “got 5 minutes in and decided it’s woke” stereotype there
