@OtomeRay (2) Like, when the MC only has things happen TO them, without any real agency or choices that matter. And the ones that are excessively oblivious to everything without reason. If they avoid those pitfalls with the writing, I can still appreciate a sweet MC 100%

@OtomeRay (1) I DO have a preference for the take-charge baddass MCs myself, just cause that's what I like. But I don't get the soft MC hate either. They can be super cute! I just don't like when writers take soft and sweet to also mean dumb and ditzy.
