James Talarico, Democrat candidate for Senate in Texas, has abandoned his Veganism and felt it necessary to release an official campaign statement showing him wearing the Texas flag and now eating BBQ. A couple of months ago we watched one of his masked campaign videos from 2022, where he talked about the need to move to a non-meat diet for the "climate," presumably, and announced his campaign would be Vegan-Only.

The national debt affects every aspect of our lives, and Congress isn't taking that seriously. Congress has abrigated it's more important responsibility in presenting an actual budget. They prefer passing Continuing Resolutions and touring the cocktail circuits.
Farmers and Ranchers in this state are being squeezed by federal government regulations, state government, water rights, eminent domain, drought, pests and diseases from across the border, and increasing input prices while a growing population demands that they produce more food than before with fewer resources. Having a secure food supply that is not reliant on other nations is a national security issue!
We have big problems in CD-10, and it's time to send an outsider to DC who will get things done.

Just this morning, someone asked me if I think there are any sincere people in politics at all. I do! The truth is that most upright people who would make good leaders don't end up running and subjecting themselves and their family to all of the downsides, because they are too busy leading in their home, their church, their community, their business, the military, or in other ways. But once in a great while you meet someone with ALL of that experience and the necessary grit to enter the political realm, who is still motivated by integrity. I think MacLeod is one of these rare men. And he's running against Elon Musk's personal lawyer - kind of a David and Goliath situation in terms of financing.
