The fact Nigeria still thinks the solution to more nurses leaving Nigeria to practice abroad is to enroll more nurses in Nursing schools and universities is what baffles me.

Enroll 2 million nurses, and they will leave at the end of the day because you have nothing to offer them. Nurses are humans with dreams. Gone are the days of “I'm proud to be a nurse” with nothing to show. A laborer is worthy of his/her wages.

I worked at the local government level where I was the nurse, doctor, pharmacist, health attendant, record officer, accountant and my salary was 20k

As at now, BNSC holders in some state hospitals do not even earn up to 150k not to mention those that are single qualified.
