Everything you need to know before approaching me can be found on this post!
If you have questions or just need to talk, feel free to DM.
Don't come into my DMs talking kink or giving a sob story (while asking for a Domme). Follow the appropriate channels to talk kink in a sexual manner.
No fantasy pushing: Do not try to insert yourself into a dynamic with me or into scnes/pictures I post.

See, the problem is when they're constantly interacting with findom coded posts. Posts that say "Like this if you want me to fuck your wallet," "Good little cucks send to Mommy," or "Do my soles make you wanna empty your wallet?" Thoses are findom coded posts. If that's not your kink, don't interact, even if it contains other kinks you're into. But, if you go through and like a bunch of Findom-based Dom/me's posts, they're gonna "hunt you" for "lurking."
If you're just liking an occasional post, that's fine. That's not "lurking" in findom spaces (unless of course you like a post about lurking). But, most people are in findom communitites, liking findom-coded posts when they're are plenty of other communitites with the same kinks that are not based in findom.
Now, I'm not saying that Dom/mes need to be in people's inboxes being disrespectful. That's not right either. There's a respectful way to approach potiential subs. Anyways, chances are if you're constantly in their notifs, they're gonna pay your DM a visit for a "lurker tax."
I think the fake subs are mostly people trying to get free content/see Dommes as content machines, get their degradation/humilation kink fed (for free by Findommes), and/or just see Dom/mes a kink-dispensers and don't desire actually being a sub, just to get their dick stroked.
They could as be, on the rare occasion, a newbie sub who hasn't done the appropriate research before jumping in and are just making all the wrong mistakes, biggest being mixing FEMdom and FINdom. Ignorance doesn't make the "crime" okay, though. They should familiarize themselves with kink and the community first.
And the same goes for the fake Dom/mes on here. The fake ones are usually the ones just here for money, have no regard for what BDSM stands for, and don't care to differentiate fantasy from reality. They're abusers using the title Dom/me and the findom kink as a cover to hide from what they're actually doing. And, the kicker, is that on here they have other "girl's girls" who will defend them by calling the true Dom/mes "weak and soft," for defending men in the findom kink space (again, they can't wrap their inflated egos around the fact that fantasy and reality are two different things) In reality, they're not Dom/mes nor do they know the hard work that goes into being one.
So, basically, all of that to say you agree with what I said (in a round about way)?
Yes, in agreed upon times of silence, it's fine. Some scenes/sessions, especially in findom, require the ignoring factor. But, he kicker here is, communication.
But that's clearly not what the original post was referring to. The OP was talking about when a Domme is feelimg stressed or overwhelmed and goes silent. That's not fair to a sub. Communication is key. If you need to step away, let the sub know. They can still do they're tasks and sub stuff. But let the human know what's up.
Not taking the time to research kinks and make a limits list is a total turnoff. It shows laziness. It shows that you want the Dom/me to do all the work. It's usually an indicator that they have no idea what is going on and/or are just trying to get some quick action/a kink dispenser. Not a good trait on a sub/finsub.
There is a difference to being new and still learning and just not trying to learn and going in ignorant.
The moment a sub says "I have no limits" is the moment I mentally draft my grocery list
No limits, no budget, no chat
A man with no boundaries is just a red flag with a username
Mmm, subs deserve communication as well. If you're stressed or having an off day/week/month, you need to communicate that with them, especially since a lot of "Dom/mes" use cutting off comunicstion as a form of punishment. It takes two swconfd to say, "stepping away for X amount of time, I'm stressed/sorting my life out/ect.)
And, they're not necessarily wanting you to "manage their anxiety." If they do have anxiety, your unannounced silence can cause it to flare and add stress to them ("adding weight").. There is nothing wrong with them checking in as a humam alongside with taking proactive actions as a sub.
Now, if they keep it up after you've told them to stop, that's a problem. That's crossing boundaries.
Findom * Femdom
The sub who messages "are you mad at me?" when you go quiet is not checking on you.
He is asking you to manage his anxiety.
He does not care if you are tired or overwhelmed or simply unavailable. He cares that the silence is uncomfortable for him. So he makes it your job to fix.
"Just let me know you're okay."
"Did I do something wrong?"
"I haven't heard from you."
Every one of those messages adds weight.
A sub who actually understood service would look at your silence and ask himself one question:
What can I handle so she does not have to?
