@zoey_michel That’s an interesting point of thinking of it not as status but as conventional good and conduct as you put it. Things might have been different but I’m not sure much would have changed.

All these series of events shows what the people were capable of doing. To free themselves of a life that they no longer wanted and needed to make a change.

Many regions in Latin America were able to gain independence, Mexico, Peru, Brazil. Many paid there lives to be able to be free from colonial rule.

@zoey_michel Also how they were punished differently if they were dishonorable. Not only how it affected them individually but future generations as well. It’s crazy to think about it.
