Condition #1 is in effect this morning. Going to be defensive this morning due to it being a NNM and the start of the trading week, so with that being said, there's no reason to force entries. I’ve learned a lot in my almost 2 years of trading. In the early years of being a trader, I give the analogy as if we are college students paying a tuition. In order to obtain that degree, you pay a tuition to educate yourself in the desired field of your choice. The same applies to trading. I refer to the first 4 years of trading as my market tuition years. I pay a market tuition to be able to learn this high income skill, and some people might disagree with that, and that’s fine. Once you start your trading career, that analogy starts to make a little more sense, year after year. And I wholeheartedly believe that each and every person who becomes a successful trader has their own style of trading, meaning nobody approaches the market in exactly the same fashion. That’s what I love about this high income skill. Once you understand how YOU want to trade and establish the strategy/system that makes sense to you, you’re going to make it work, despite any criticism you might face. If it makes sense to you, why would you move away from it. I chose this profession, because it all relies on you. Every mistake, tweak, and adjustment falls on you. And on top of that, you need to have the undoubted, delusional vision, that you are going to succeed. That’s my TedTalk for the night. Down 2% premarket, so definitely something to weigh in since the overall trend is bearish currently. It would be so sick if #MNQ took out the resting Daily low before ATHs potentially in the next couple of weeks + under the 50EMA on the daily, so the obvious play is shorts.

Condition #1 is in effect this morning. Since yesterday morning there was a massive 600 points sell off on #MNQ, with resting 4 hour lows to the left thats cutout in the picture. so there is room to the downside still if that is where the market keeps moving. But for now I need a break of the London VAH or VAL to take a trade.

This journey seems crazy to most people, and I don’t blame them. You go years on end not seeing or thinking your making progress, constantly losing your mind, revising, re-evaluating, contemplating your every decision and idea towards your trading. And at the end of the day, we have fallen in love with the process. See it’s not delusion because there are plenty of people who’ve made this a reality, we just need to stick it out long enough to actually reap the hard work we’ve put in. It’s only delusional until it works. And to think, these late nights, grinding, understanding, and constantly fighting with your own mentality, it will all be a funny memory looking back 10 years from now when I was in my “grind” era. Part of me wishes I had what I wanted now, but where’s the fun in getting satisfaction from something you haven’t even built yet. Patience will pay, mark my words.

Strategy (NYAM): VWAP + Asia/London Fixed Range Volume Profile. Timeframe - 1 minute. Risk - 20 #MNQ contracts. 1) Chart out the Asia/London FRVP. 2) Identify current market structure. 3)Identify the FRVP levels. 4) Base my entries off those levels from the Asia/London FRVP's. 5) No more than 2 trades per day. 6) No premarket trades 7) Entries need to have a confirmation candle in the direction I am looking to trade
Notes: This was the best trade I took all night, the overall market structure was bearish, and I needed price to react to one of the levels I had charted out which was the London VAH. I went short off the rejection of London VAH, targeting the lows back down to VWAP.

I’m having such a difficult time managing my losses. Like it’s to a point where I do not want to look away from my chart knowing I just lost and I should be okay with it but I’m not. I think I hold myself to such a high standard that the framework of “losing” is putting so much unnecessary stress on myself that it causes me to hesitate, second guess, doubt, in turn, causing me to fail and fail and fail. Mfs weren’t lying when they said you need to become an extremely diligent loser.
