@jasonrmcintyre How long will it take people to get over the fact that you (as someone who is supposed to have some sports knowledge) didn’t realize Mike Evans won a Super Bowl?
@GeorgeFoster72 More and more players and ex players (who aren’t in the engagement business) are coming out saying the discourse is ridiculous, but fans who have never stepped foot on the hardwood are “baffled”.
@AntonDemianovy1@Cosmo_Posting@WembysCastle The number of clips is bigger, because nobody clips anybody else. I will say that while Wemby falls significantly less, I would venture to guess his percentage of unnecessary falls is greater.
@AntonDemianovy1@Cosmo_Posting@WembysCastle And I’m sure there are more times that he is fouled, falls and it doesn’t get called than times he doesn’t get fouled, falls and it is called. Players wouldn’t fall, flail or embellish if fouls were called. They do those things as a reaction to not getting calls.
@AntonDemianovy1@Cosmo_Posting@WembysCastle Where in this table does it show “unnecessary falling” which is completely subjective. Also, where does it compare drive rate and contact made with players bigger than him? Wemby makes zero contact with players bigger than him, SGA probably leads the league.
@RealJayWilliams With all due respect Jay, you’re no longer in a position to have your opinion respected as you’re now in the “hot take” business. If that weren’t the case, this segment wouldn’t have existed at all. Your show needs these clips amplified to even exist.
@GuruLakers Nothing ironic about it. That former star is now dependent on engagement, so I believe his take as much as I do Skip Bayless or Shannon Sharpe. I’ll listen to the opinions of former and current stars who don’t have anything to gain by being controversial.
@AntonDemianovy1@Cosmo_Posting@WembysCastle SGA adjusted his game after everybody adjusted their defense of him because of his mid range jumper. They tried to take that away from him by staying on his hip. The drawing fouls is to get them off of him. The “selling and falling” is not as prominent people make it out to be.
@AntonDemianovy1@Cosmo_Posting@WembysCastle He does it more because he has to be guarded different. If you give him space from midrange he will knock down shots like it’s a free throw. But it’s Baader Meinhof phenomenon anyway. He doesn’t do it as often as you think, you’re just aware of it.
@AntonDemianovy1@Cosmo_Posting@WembysCastle So you can admit that he is getting fouled, you’re just mad that he’s just trying to get fouled instead of naturally trying to score? Welcome to basketball kiddo, let me know if you have any questions, I’d love to help.
@SamPrestiGM It’s plays like these that are the reason players fall. You don’t want people to flail and fall to the ground, call it so that they don’t have to. Treat the disease not the symptoms.
@young_eddo They draw the fouls by getting defenders out of position. You may not like embellishment, but that’s on the defense to not give them anything to embellish on.
