Minimum wage should be able to cover the cost of housing, food, phone bill, etc but you literally cannot survive on it. Then the government wonders why there’s so much homelessness and why people go to other alternatives to get money

Even if the sentiment of “minimum wage is for minimal skill/education” was true (which it’s not) it should not equate to “minimal survival.” The basis of a minimum wage is that it is what you can live on but currently you cant even afford housing in America on $7.25

Never forgive, never forget. I don’t really talk about Srebrenica or the genocide of thousands of people in Bosna in 1995 mostly because it’s hard to talk about your dead dad without being pitied and that’s not what I want. But recently I realized it’s a mistake
