I together with the African National Congress wish our dear brother Comrade President Cyril Ramaphosa a happy and joyful Birthday. From his early days as a unionist and now President, Cyril Ramaphosa has always been a fervent advocate of the historical mission of the ANC, to bring about a non-sexist, non-racial and democratic South Africa. To many more Cde President.

I spent 7 days teaching the gospel of agriculture in London, UK 🇬🇧
One day I was growing chilli peppers in the village where there was no internet, no Wi-Fi, and sometimes not even network.
You had to climb a hill just to send a message.
Now imagine that same boy flying to London to talk about agriculture. Life really has jokes.
Social media made it possible.
It took my voice beyond borders and connected me with people I never knew existed.
It turned my passion into purpose and opened doors I never imagined — doors I didn’t even know had my name on them.
Social media is now the new way of connecting.
It is how you unlock global opportunities without even packing a suitcase — until your inbox surprises you.
It is how you turn followers into friends, partners, and people who greet you like they’ve known you for years.
Use it well.
Use it with intention.
Your audience can open pathways you never expected — sometimes faster than your own village network can load a photo.
A few months ago, this digital journey took me to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025 — the world’s most prestigious horticulture showcase.
Very prestigious.
The kind of event where flowers look more expensive than your whole outfit.
I tried not to look like I was taking pictures for my entire village WhatsApp group.
I attended with support from Gates Foundation and Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens.
Walking through that event, I kept thinking, “So growing chilli peppers in the village brought me here?”
In London, I met experts shaping the future of horticulture.
I met scientists creating climate-smart innovations — the kind that make you ask, “Even plants have more technology than us now?”
I met youth who believe agriculture can transform communities.
Someone even told me, “You make farming sound fun.” That, my friend, is a global award.
Every connection began with one thing — a story I shared online.
Social media is powerful.
It can move you across countries.
It can place you in rooms you never knew existed.
It can introduce you to people who believe in your work before they ever see you.
So keep showing up.
Keep sharing your journey.
Keep planting digital seeds that grow into real opportunities.
Your voice can travel before your feet ever arrive — and sometimes, it will book the ticket for you.
Never label your life as hard or a struggle because that’s what you will get. Instead talk about how everything that you want comes to you effortlessly!
This isn’t just a tax issue—it’s a system failing its people. The illicit trade thrives because we let it.
