ICO era was revolutionary, but it also allowed for paper-hand Investors, which turned the community willing to stick with the Project into exit liquidity.

Now, @AlignerZ is hoping to change that via IWO.

I actually like the idea of Tokenization, I guess I'll check projects on that (@Alignerz_ is tokenizing vesting schedule, so I've started exploring Tokenization).

but dave - how were you early to plasma?

easy. it’s because i was bullish on stablecoins already so finding an eco purpose built for that was a no brainer

i think most people can’t find projects early because they approach crypto almost “scattered” (pic unrelated)

they don’t believe in anything & if the tech doesn’t excite you - it’ll be hard for the money to come

you have to find an area you genuinely want to push - even outside incentives

let’s say you have a growing portfolio + your ability to grow mindshare - if all you do is talk about the next shiny thing - you might keep getting dust upon dust 🥲

but if privacy (for example) excites you - it’s easy to niche down & find projects in that line - that align with your own beliefs

the algo will even help you once it sees you talking about a particular thing for a while - whenever a project building in that niche comes out of stealth - you’ll be one of the first to find out & do some research.

some teams will even DM you once you’ve become a top voice in a certain area.

atm - there are many teams raising in stealth - building things within various niches of crypto - be fluid - but also have one where you’ll always be there because you believe in that area as a whole.

In ICO 1.0, (paper hands) Investors bid for a token, and they just get it. Holding it, waiting, for the perfect time to dump it on the real believers, or hold it, in case they believe in the project.
