went biking Sunday, as planned, to explore the area. Then came back and took a three-hour nap! hahaha

was very thrilled to hear people say "poquiTICO" en vez de "poquitito" here. Also, no one says "de nada" here. Instead, they say "con gusto"

Weirdest thing -- hot dogs (bought some on sale) are individually wrapped in plastic casings here!

Also, they were running a special: buy 1 kg of apples, receive 1 kg of tomatoes free.

Luckily, rain didn't hit til evening. Spent whole day arreglando mis cosas y compu! Also finally went grocery shopping @ the local Hipermas.

So far, week has been great. A co-worker took me out @ lunch 2 buy a Costarricense cookbook, & I got 2 meet the author & have it signed too!

Even tho I asked every1 2 speak 2 me only in Span, every1 also knows English, so I have a safety net &help every time I get stuck on a word.

The job is going great so far. Working in the office is the perfect environment to improve Spanish.
