Career Simulation Investigative and Artistic-Hillsdale Career Explorations students acted as orthopedic specialists to analyze X-rays of broken bones, determine a treatment plan and write a fictional story about how the injury occurred. @CVWorldofWork@hillsdalepride

@_Emily_Conner_ ,an experienced English Tr, was tapped to teach #careerdevelopment 100% distance @HillsdaleCVUSD in 2020/21. Today, 154 of her 7th/8th grade Ss responded to 29 Q's and shared insightful feedback about careers they explored, hoped for, activities, and NPS. Bravo!

I spent much longer hours than I would in the classroom talking to students and parents individually, giving daily feedback, providing tech support, setting weekly goals and keeping them motivated. Connection, consistency and relevancy in this era take time and effort.
