Hondana Mensah, the 32-year-old French language teacher, sentenced to 12 years’ imprisonment by the Odumase Krobo Circuit Court for defiling a 12-year-old student at her home during an extra tuition session.

According to prosecutors, Mr. Hondana who doubled as the class teacher of the victim threatened to fail her in her end-of-semester examinations if she reported the abuse.

Update:

Hours after a lady accused an elderly man of slåpping her in Abuja for rejecting his advances, she returned with police officers to locate and arrest him at his apartment.

According to her, residents told her the man had been involved in similar incidents for a long time and had been reported to the police several times. She added that her family does not want to pursue the case further, but wants him to pay for the physical and emotional harm she claims to have suffered and to sign an undertaking.

UPDATE Oooo!!!!!
They found and arrested the silly thing!!!She got his address and brought the police. The silly coward ran inside the house, locked himself in and tried to escape through the back. They nabbed him and took him to the station o! He was now prostrating to beg! They have held him, requesting a surety. He wrote a letter of undertaking too.
I would have preferred some panel beating from members of the community sha.
The reason evil continues is because we take too much Nonsense and “leave it to God”. Go all the way and let people experience consequences!!

A grammar tip:

When choosing between “and me” or “and I” in a sentence, choose the one that works if you drop the other person.

“My sister and I went to the store,” becomes, “I went to the store,” which is correct.

“My sister and me went to the store,” becomes, “Me went to the store,” which is incorrect.
