@aNichiporchik I bought my key from Green Man Gaming and it's been revoked. They're not a "shady reseller website" but a reputable retailer who've been trading for 17 years.
@uxwoodsy I think manufacturers when building their custom Android skins still add "Clear all" buttons even though it's counterproductive just for the sake of users' habits. If we consider Pixel Android to be "base" Android, I have no such button so it's something 3rd parties add in.
@uxwoodsy These days, not really. In older versions of Android it was a total free-for-all and apps could basically do anything in the background. Each new version has been more aggressive with limits on background activity so it's not really necessary these days on Android either.
I think it's weird that the twitter sidebar will promote topics as "trending" when they're totally not, they're just stuff the algorithm has noticed you like. Like nice try twitter but I've figured out Shadow the Hedgehog does not in fact trend every day
Many people here seem to think that the function of the voting system is to give you a warm feeling because you voted with your heart. In the voting booth your brain is more use, frankly. Vote for whoever is more likely to defeat the Tory.
@SamTMcNally This attitude keeps the Conservatives in power. Most of the right will always fall into line and vote Conservative, while the left can't swallow their pride and vote for the least-bad option. Without some realpolitik thinking we're doomed to more decades of Tory rule.
@SamTMcNally FPTP builds in tactical voting and a two-party system. A vote for a random third-party in a contested seat is a vote for the Tories (left-wing perspective). Ideological purity is not a luxury we have in this system, you have to vote for the largest party you dislike the least.
